A final hurrah for classic 3D Zelda adventures
After playing the original on the Nintendo Wii, I knew there was a barrier to enjoying this title at its best. Now with this re-release/definitive edition, there is a much better opportunity to engage with it fully. The quality of life changes in the Nintendo Switch edition make the game so much more enjoyable, with the biggest gain the ability to play handheld and an intuitive enough control method to support that. This game attempts to pull in a new crowd for anyone who never played this game, but also adds enough to the experience for people like myself who wanted to play this again.
I imagine enjoying this on a full play-through, and share with those close with me who I know will appreciate the story, presentation, unique control, fun elements that keep you immersed.
I do recommend this game, although not my favourite Zelda experience to date, it is derived from some of my favourites and feels modern enough to warrant your time.
