Save massively on A/C repair (if you know what you're doing)

Awesome. Easy and quick fix for my home A/C at about 10% (or less) what a fancy A/C repair service would charge! Thank God for Ebay (and Youtube). You do need a multimeter that will measure capacitance, however. Not a job for everyone - learning what to do on Youtube is critical. Pictures show bad capacitor with bulging bottom (telltale sign). Temperature readings in house right after repair, and reading from air vent right after repair
