Harsh war in the desert
It did seem to provide a good look and feel to what the military had to go through in a desert war. The characters seemed believable insofar as some people simply should not be in the jobs they somehow ended up in. We're drawn into the soldiers' frustrations.

Quite a nice machine
I have a 2002 Grand Marquis with a factory installed cassette player, which actually has decent fidelity. I wanted to find a machine that was inexpensive + at least "FM quality" and this is certainly that. The manual states the CD frequency response is 127-20,000 while the cassette is only 125 - 8,000. But when I play a tape in my car (made from this machine) it sounded fine; certainly FM quality or better. In my home and other car I have "silly" specs such as 4 to 20,000 and my old ears (I'm 69 now) might not be hearing like they used to. But I still say this Eiki 7070 is fine for me and I'm completely happy with it.
