Positive experience
Hard to find these in working condition moving parts wear out, which means dwindling numbers and higher prices. This time, I got a good VR at a good price.

Panasonic 185 -- thumbs up
This has the best playback speaker in the history of micro cassette voice recorders. Its successors were smaller, without room for a large speaker like the Panasonic RN 185. I keep a supply of these on hard, I like them so much, and they're plentiful and inexpensive. Like everything vintage, they wear out quickly because of so many moving parts, but I just love listening to my voice through that large speaker!
