Vintage Collins 32S-1 Amateur Radio Transmitter
1 of 1 found this helpful Excellent piece of equipment even after 60 years. Requires external power supply. If never serviced, may need capacitor replacement. Collins Radio, Grade 1 Class A equipment. Recommended for the serious ham that enjoys using and maintaining high quality vintage equipment. I own one that I bought used in 1983 (33 years ago) and have had no issues with it. I recently changed out the electrolytic and paper capacitors with no noticeable change in performance. A couple of matching units are the 75S-3 receiver and 30L-1 KW desktop amplifier, plus other Collins Radio S-Line equipment and accessories.

A Beautiful & Accurate Piece of Test Equipment For Any Well Equipped Test Bench
I bought one of these off Ebay a few years back and thought I would use it primarily for RF work but I find I use it just as much if not more for AF design particularly in adjusting NFB capacitors in vacuum tube amplifiers. Magnificent piece of equipment. You may not need it every day but when you do need it, you will certainly appreciate it. ElPaso TubeAmps

Still the best electronic engineers calculator on the market
An engineers calculator. If you just want to get the job done, this is the calculator for you. No fancy graphing - probably not necessary except as a student. It is RPN so it takes some getting used to but after you really figure it out, you will never go back to an algebraic style calculator. I bought one when they first came out in the 80's and still have it and it works perfectly. I needed a second one so I wasn't always looking for my only one. Then I discovered a HP 15-C app for my iPhone - so now I have three. That is how much I like this jewel.
