3D review: Excellent!

This is a 3D only review of Mad Max: Fury Road 3D blu ray (LG OLED65E6P). Great 3D! Loads of depth and jump-inducing popouts. Bright, vivid, crystal-clear picture. Fun action movie that's basically one long chase (not a bad thing!). Explosions, dirt clods, spears, lots of stuff flying around. Almost makes my list of top 3D blu rays (Hansel and Gretel, Thor Ragnarok, Guy Ritchie's King Arthur, Dr. Strange). Got this one used from a great seller. Five fun 3D stars!

Canoe Eau De Cologne spray 1.5ox 44mL

Warning: NOT like Clubman Pinaud

Great seller! Just reviewing Canoe cologne here ... Love Clubman Pinaud aftershave, smells as if you've just left the barbershop (since so many barbers use it) but fades after an hour or two. Read of other men online seeking same scent in a long-lasting cologne, and Canoe was recommended. Unless that "barbershop" is a beauty parlor where nana gets her hair tinted blue, I'm baffled. While Clubman Pinaud has a sharp, antiseptic, soapy aroma that is very clean and masculine, Canoe has the overwhelmingly sweet feminine smell of baby powder. This cologne (not the eau de toilette or aftershave) DOES last all day, but it simply does not smell at all to me like Clubman Pinaud or even a man's scent. Kind of relieved, because Canoe is discontinued and hard to find, whereas Clubman Pinaud aftershave is inexpensive and available at local drugstores. Will end up just getting a small pocket bottle and filling it with Clubman for later in the day. Wish Clubman offered it's classic barbershop Pinaud scent in a cologne. Again, the one star is just for Canoe. This excellent seller gets five stars. Very disappointed with the sweet little girl baby powder smell of Canoe.

3D review: Great color, depth but $hop around

Excellent 3D image and depth on this quality restoration from Twilight Time. Currently only 15 bucks brand new at distributor Screen Archives site until 10/3/18, (so no need to pay $60 - $100 as a collector's item until the film sells out). Fairly standard 1950's genre western plot and characters. But four stars for the rare opportunity to experience another classic '50s 3D film in all its glory on vivid blu ray. Now if only Second Chance; I, the Jury; The Glass Web; The Diamond Wizard; Hondo ... Keep 'em coming!
