Good product? NO! GREAT Design & Quality? Yes
0 of 3 found this helpful This product is a contradiction: The idea, BT attachment, Usability - ALL FANTASTIC.
Here's the problem: The FM transmitter is decent, but crackles on all frequencies at longer distance. On a car, the antenna is, by default, located closer to the driver/dashboard, physically. On an SUV with a rear mounted/roof antenna (typical of current, mid-2000's+) the antenna to receive the signal is too far from the puck. To this it is not a fault of the device, just a fact of physics so you can't blame the product. The device was retested inside a home with a portable FM stereo [read: old boombox] on a more line-of-sight. [Read: You don't want a metal roof in between the puck and the antenna.]
What *is* a fault of the product is the incredibly bad sound quality 'interpretation' of the attached bluetooth device.
Once a solid FM connection was made - High frequencies? barely passable. Midrange? Decent. Bass? HORRIBLY distorted to a high level.
So, what's one to do? Teardown!
In short - The device was torndown to the circuit board and audio signal intercepted before the FM transmitter. The bass coming out of the audio circuit clipped the meter.
Recommendation: Don't buy.

Fast and loose...
12 of 13 found this helpful Actually a decent quality little hummer. Was cheaper to buy than drive (gas/time) to storage to get my regular machine for this one straight stitch job.
Notes: 1 stitch type - straight. 1 stitch length - medium (too big/long if you ask me.) Threading is easy, but is very difficult to control tension so you don't end up with a mess. A lot of trial and error for each fabric density is required. No zigzag (wasn't expected, but noting it). Reverse is push button easy. Foot pedal is physically light...
Does it work and worth it for last minute straight stitch in an emergency? Yes. But, it requires that you play with it and get to know the machine. Good for children learning to sew? No. Don't be cheap when learning or teaching to sew! Find a good used home machine (DAV/Good Will/Salvation Army) and have it tuned. This is NOT a learning machine.
