perfect working condition

Excellent quality, Buck 112 Ranger "need-to-know's"
This sheath is made with excellent craftsmanship for 4" folding knives.
May not be a good idea for everyone to purchase this as a replacement sheath for the Buck 112 Ranger knife, due to the knife being 4 1/8" in the closed position, but if you're not opposed to the perfect cradled fit for holding the Buck 112, then forcing the snap shut isn't going to be a problem - so, that being the case I wouldn't recommend this sheath for use to anyone under the age of 16 for use with the Buck 112 because they must be able to work the flap in a manner consistent with stretching it into the closed position to snap it shut (requires both hands until the leather has stretched enough to easily snap it shut).
Other than that, i'd recommend this sheath to anyone for any folding knife that's no more than 4" closed.
*note - i'm not having any problems using one hand to snap the sheath shut on my Buck knife since I forced the knife into the sheath earlier today. In fact, the button is now snapping into place much more securely as the shape of the knife is now seated in a position that allows the flap of the sheath to fold over the extra 1/8" of the knife without any problems.
