I myself would give this album two thumbs up. A winner for sure.
I really do enjoy this CD.One can here the late Jesse Ed Davis'guitar work in the tracks.John Trudell does not sing in the typical style of singing, he more or less speaks along with the music. One might think you could do something like that once or twice, but somehow he can pull this off on every track.I personally find Jesse's guitar work on Heart Jump Bouquet to be some of the most beautiful stuff ever put down. Some of my favorite tracks include the opening Restless Situations, Never Never Blues, Heart Chanting, Rockin'The Rez, Bringing Back The Time, and the title track Heart Jump Bouquet. A few of these songs can also be found on John Trudell's album A K A Grafitti Man.Both albums feature Jesse Ed Davis.
