    Very Quiet, compact unit--
    My husband is plagued with allergies- and this item seems to help! It is small enough to sit on his night stand and is quiet enough not to bother him sleeping. It has two "fan speeds" but both are quiet. The cord was nice and long to reach to the other side of the bed and plug in. The on off button on the top is easy to operate (lit red when it is off- and blue while on). This is a great small unit to cover a small space- perfect for our needs bedside.
