It isn't all the way waterproof Tis basically a hard case! I don't recommend this

Perfect
2 of 2 found this helpful Perfect for the dorm I'm in. With the fault being on Altec Lansing for their decision to make the speaker yell at you when turning it on, off or connecting. I have never liked that. It is obnoxious and could be supplanted by a different color indication on the speaker or a visual prompt on the electronic device connecting. Still a great device, loud and tough!

Worth more than priced!
I had bought one of this exact model before, but brown. One day out of nowhere it just stopped working as I dropped it daily on concrete, but it lasted 4-5 months! Great buy for the price, and brightest iv'e owned!
