About
Project on the bench is o gauge model of Devonport Kings Road Station. Date mid 1930’s. GWR and LSWR shared the Exeter to Plymouth lines as annually Dawlish section of GWR could be closed. Interesting mix of carriages and locomotives. Would still like to find more photographs, slides or postcards of interior and of platform 1 and 2. Still restoring the odd clock to keep myself ticking.

Bearing single row deep groove.
Perfect for the job:no discernible sideways movement so have been able to make running centres with these for an 8mm lathe.

Cutting broaches by Bergeon.
Excellent graduated set of cutting broaches with sharp well thought out taper to enable the watchmaker to finish pivot holes after fitting a new bush. Since buying first set of Bergeon screwdrivers at Shoots (sadly no longer with us) a long time ago, I have stuck to the Brand appreciating the Made in Switzerland quality of their tools.

Comprehensive book on striking and Chiming Clocks
A well written informative book with lots of drawings and photographs of clock movements the novice clock repairer of today will find useful. Explains the development of striking and chiming work and the reasons for its poor state of repair, parts which need special attention and setting up.
