Sci-fi gem

This is the forerunner of films like Pacific Rim.( I heard there is a sequel coming, yay) The special effects were well,if simply done and obvious but the film holds up and will by its very specific time period, shine a light on the stresses and hopeful solutions of the 1990s.

Yardley , mine for a lifetime

I can only wear a few perfumes with out a skin rash. Lily of the Valley is my favorite. Over my 70 year lifetime , it has become my signature scent. It is so evocative that when my daughter got married and moved to Calf. she missed me terribly. She called the East Coast in tears because someone in a store walked by her and she smelled their Yardley Lily of the Valley and she turned to look for me and of course, I wasn't there. We never know how we affect people, or what little consistent thing we do that will etch us in someone's memory, but who would suppose one could buy an indelible memory for so little? My advice? Buy a little Yardley and linger longer.

New monster! What is not to love?

I collect the Godzilla films and I was missing a few to make my collection complete. I notice some of the films made in the 90"s include Godzilla bleeding copious amounts. To me, this detracts from the films watch-ability.One of the joys of my life is introducing my grandchildren to the ToHo studio pictures. They are usually child friendly viewing however, with this new era of swearing and profanity and copious bleeding, I find that I will have to restrict their video choices. It is really too bad. Mostly, I enjoyed the film. The content s certainly no fault of the seller and the service was excellent. I would recomend it to die hard fans.
