Highest performance/price ergonomic chair

This chair has sufficient adjustability to achieve complete ergonomic comfort. 1) There are levers to adjust seat height and to lock the tilt. 2) Set screws adjust the width of the armrest and depth of the back rest. 3) The backrest height is on a springy ratcheting-clamp sort of thing that can be pulled to the desired height with sufficient force. 4) The armrest height can be adjusted by button locks. I am 6'0 and have the arms of a person who is 6'4. At work I use a Steelcase Leap, which is a 700 dollar chair with every bell and whistle in existence. I find the Alera Elusion to meet every need of mine that the Steelcase Leap meets in addition to being 1/6 the price.

Get what you pay for

Ships with 50mW 405nm laser diode in a TO-18 can. The motors and linear actuators may have been salvaged from a pair of DVD drives. For someone's first laser CNC, it is honestly a really excellent value to learn the basics of CNC and laser engraving, but do not expect anything beyond that. For best results, slow the motor speed value from the default of 60 down to something like 20 or 30. In the packaged software, this is found in the Settings - config menu. The motors will blur any image you try to engrave with this machine if they are set to move too quickly. Slow them down and you can achieve some pretty good results at the cost of time. The image processing capability of the software is sufficiently good for the laser, but some knowledge of image processing will help avoid producing compression articles and other blemishes from over-processing an image. BUGS: Software version 1.4.0 There is a bug that will set a region of the top row of pixels in an image to black, causing the laser to engrave a black line at the top of an image sometimes. I have not chased down what reliably caused this bug, but normal use of the laser saw it appear relatively often. The built-in eraser tool is sufficient to eliminate it once it appears. At times the moving bed will malfunction at the start of engraving an image. It will not advance between each row of pixels, causing the entire image to be engraved as a single line. If this occurs, pausing the engraving, then using the buttons on the side of the machine to move the bed slightly will "un-stick" it. Once the bed has been moved slightly it will engrave normally upon resuming or re-starting the engraving. I suspect this occurs anytime the bed begins at either extreme of its range of motion, but I haven't reliably reproduced this bug either, though it happens often enough.
