Unique guitar

It needed a serious setup right out of the box. Once I gave it a proper setup it turned out to play very smoothly, especially for such a low-price guitar. The tone is very different from any of my other guitars, kind of janky or jangly sounding. I don't think the sound would be right for everyone, but I really like it. The pickups have very good output volume. The color is striking, and I get a lot of comments about it when I'm playing with my band. My only complaint is that the whammy bar is currently pretty useless. The guitar immediately goes out of tune with every dive. A more skilled luthier could probably fix this no problem, I just don't know how to properly file a nut. I've been told that I might just need to take off the back plate to fix this problem, so I'm going to try that. I like the guitar enough that I plan to pick up the other colors to use for alternate tunings in a live situation.
