Dated but gold!
2 of 2 found this helpful Not as polished as the sequel Dark Cloud 2/Dark Chronicle, lacking voiced cut-scenes, etc. However the unique and more straight forward approach to gameplay systems in the original game holds up well to this day, and is one of the best action-rpgs the PlayStation 2 has to offer!

My favorite GBA title!
This review may or may not be filled with a tiny bit of bias, but in my opinion this is my favorite game out of the Nintendo Gameboy Advances library! Something about meshing a cute and friendly story about teens in a Tennis Academy training and working their hardest in order to face off against Nintendo All-Stars during the final chapter of the game really tickles my fancy! Plus it's mixed with the tight sports gameplay controls nintendo spinoffs have come to be known for! What's not to love!?

A underappreciated console!
The Nintendo Gamecube came out late during its generation, but that gave it a few upper hands as well, like being more powerful than both the SEGA Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 consoles only being beaten by the Microsoft Xbox, which came out even later than the Nintendo Gamecube! It doesn't have nearly as many games as the PlayStation 2, however what it does have, IS POLISH! Nintendo's first party games always have an amazing amount of polish put into them, i don't remember seeing complaints about them being broken or unfinished even once. However the games themselves, are all up to your own personal opinion as a consumer. For what it is, a game console, with a library of very solid games and some superior versions of multiplat games from the generation, its completely worth the slightly steep price tag for it's library.
