The iPad is a fun toy that needs a few more options to replace the laptop.
I enjoy using my iPad when my laptop isn't available or convenient. I bought this item used and glad I did as I saved a substantial amount of money. It does most functions of any computer except printing as I don't have a compatible printer. Any serious work I do will still be on my laptop or desktop. The screen is bright and vivid, adjusting to the ambient lighting in the room. While the iPad is light, it can strain the wrist to hold for long periods of time. I need to get a cover that converts to a stand or provides a better way to hold the unit. Battery life, even on this used item, seems very good with hours and hours of use before requiring a charge. I do wish Apple would get over their aversion to Flash as many sites use this format for video and games. Still, the iPad is a good option for anyone looking for an introduction to the world of tablets. It offers many useful features and does so in a sleek package.

Terrific device for all kinds of entertainment.
The Roku 3 is easy to set up and delivers a good quality picture. The service offers an enormous number of channels to choose from. While many of them don't interest me and many require an additional monthly charge, it's nice that there are so many choices. I plan on cancelling my cable and, along with my PS4, the Roku will fill that programming void left once the Comcast is gone.

Fascinating Yet Frustrating
2 of 2 found this helpful No Man's Sky is a beautiful looking game. The worlds, creatures, plants, etc. are well designed and interesting to look at. I also enjoy flying around on planets and between stars. What I dislike about the game is how frustrating it can be to properly maintain your inventory and building the things you need to be able to fly your ship and go to warp. Also, I made the mistake of attacking a larger ship in orbit over a world and now when I leave a world I am instantly attacked and blown up as I don't have a good grasp of fighting in space. It is rather frustrating to be trapped on one world and it can get a little dull during longer game play. If you love keeping track of the metals and minerals you have in inventory then No Man's Sky is for you. Otherwise, you might want to skip it.
