Way better than the newer style guard
The newer echo weed trimmers have a really small guard on them so everything you cut flies up and hits your legs and even your face. I read online that the older style (this one) was bigger and protected you better from flying debris. I easily installed this guard in about 5 minutes. Works exactly as I hoped it would. Does a way better job at stopping debris from flying at me.

My kids loved these
bought 2 sets, one for a 5 year old and one for a 7 year old. They had a blast looking at them all and comparing them. Each set had a GX card as described.
