Packing of fenders with no added padding when boxed to ship
2 of 2 found this helpful First fender had no warning labels like "Fragile", "Do not Crush", "This end up", it was put in a box with just some brown paper. Sure it had some cardboard on the fender. But just having some foam on the tips will not protect the fender. Some cardboard padding blocks should be taped on the tips and ends to prevent damage. Sent them these normal shipper knowledge to assist them in having QC fix this. They sent a replacement as requested, but shipped it the same way with some a piece of folded cardboard on the bottom. Needless to say the dog ear tip did get bent, because again only a small piece of foam on it and no markings on the box. Plus the box was not even taped on either end, only staples on both ends with only 3 barley holding the bottom together. Sad, very sad, the first shipment had the boxed all crushed, barley any staples holding the top and bottom. It had 2 on the top and 3 on the bottom, just mangled both ends of the fender and dents all over the outside of the fender. If your not a Auto Body Repair Professional like myself and don't want to pay a whole lot for a fender, remember you get what you pay for, cheap price, cheap packaging, labels and no markings can equal "NOT NEW FENDER, JUST A BEAT UP OLD STOCK".
