Clutch for 2009 R1
2 of 2 found this helpful The great thing about this kit was that every thing was labeled. The fibers had the purple on one of the fiber tabs for each fiber so that you knew just how to line them up. Measure your stack so that it's 43mm per the manual soak in your favorite oil and install. When removing the old clutch restack the fibers and steels and zip tie so you have them as a reference. I also recommend stacking the new clutches, zip tie loosely and soak. I only soaked mine for 30min. When re-installing the clutch cover line up the markings for proper clutch adjustment (they are on the cover and the small lever attached to the cover) for ease and best results. When rec-onnecting the clutch cable I disconnected the opposite end from the clutch lever then connect the clutch end first, after that the clutch lever end. Adjust for slack and happy riding. I would buy this clutch set again. Can't beat OEM clutches.
