Cheap and reliable
EBs have been around for decades. They have always been a good go to string. In the last several years their lasting tone is very short. They seem to get dull and lifeless after a few days. Imo they have lost their quality to get people to buy their higher priced strings. When Earnie ball made just made slinkys, they were the best.

Folded 1075 hcs Katana
1 of 1 found this helpful Having serval katanas with different carbon content, I searched for the middle of 1060 and 1095. 1075 came up and tsunami dragon came up. Upon recieving this kantana several weeks later, the first thing I checked was if TRIUMPH was engraved correctly. It was, and also deeply burned in, much nicer than that of other sellers. After a wipe down of the thick oil and plastic to keep any oxidation from occurring on the way to me. I love the folded waves in the steel. The sword has a "good energy" to it, like the sword Smith loves what they do. Wrapping is tight and edge is very sharp.....maybe not razor sharp but decent. The Weight and balance are nice. The saya was so tight I have to pull it apart will all my might. I also had to get someone to pull one end to pull it out. I think that the oil swelled up the wood. I contacted tsunami dragon and they immediately sent out a replacement that I'm waiting on at the moment. Wielding this beautiful sword, I noticed it has a loud audible woosh as it cuts through the air. Maybe because I'm all excited about it ...lol. so, this is the part your asking yourself......get to the important part, how it cuts ...Tameshigiri. I dont have any tatami mats but I do know where a bamboo forest grows. This is the most anxious moment with your new sword. Will the edge roll or chip. Will it bend or twist like 1045 steel does. I see a 1" bamboo tree...I swing and it goes through like air. A thicker 2" gets it next....cuts through with ease. Now the 4" bamboo I put more power into it. I swung and I thought something was wrong with the bamboo, like it was a sprout/shoot. Well it cut through so easily that I tried a 1/2" tree branch...then a 2" tree branch. It survived without any damage to the katana. I'm happy with this sword. It's an excellent buy and beautifully crafted for the price under 200$. This katana will meet your expectations and exceed them. I will buy another sword from these guys in the future. I have my eye on a L6 steel katana. Since this seller is basically a manufacturer of decent quality products, their prices are lower than resellers of swords. This sword is worth double the price. Tsunami dragon swords are a good purchase.

Needs work to be a useful weapon
3 dull blades. Tip is rounded like a bullet, the 2nd one was semi pointed. After I sanded the paint off, supposedly its 440 steel. When paint is off it takes a good half hour to make it sharp. Before its sharpened, it barely penetrates a cardboard box. Not sure what others got that gave this a good review. Unless you know how sharpen knives don't expect this to be a good defense tool.
