good cab with legit vintage 30 in it, for how much again?
-the Monoprice 1x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet with Celestion Vintage 30 is legit. when i first saw it, i had my doubts, but for the price i paid for it, it was hard to resist. that being said, once i received it, it arrived in good condition. i opened the box that it came in, to find out it was double boxed. that is a huge plus, for protection during shipping. no damage, at all, to the inner box. not even a small ding or anything. once i got it out of the factory packaging, i gave it a quick "look-over". looked to be brand new and in great condition. the little white trim isnt quite perfect. but considering the price, im surprised at the quality of this 1x12 cab. the speaker in it is a LEGIT Celestion Vintage 30, made by Celestion in China. the speaker i got in mine did not have that little "cut" on the label as many people have gotten, so im guessing its a 50/50 chance if you get one with the little cut on the label or not....
- the input/output jack connectors arent the best, top of the market level connector jack, but it is plenty good enough for any needs you may have. the soldering looks decent and im not seeing any soldering issues or "cold solder joints", that i can see with my own eyeholes.....
-the cab itself, the wood and covering, seem like they are of good quality and it all seems well built. if you didnt know how little this cab cost, you wouldnt know by looking at it, or by its sound.
- due to it having a real Vintage 30 in it, its gonna sound good, regardless, but the cab has some factor in the tone, as well. the cab provides enough space to produce a good amount of nice and smooth lows, but not so big that the lows take over the mids and highs. the cab itself is a good size for a 1x12. its not a mini 1x12 cab and it also isnt a giant one either. its a good overall size that i think its perfect for anyone looking for a 1x12 cab with a speaker. it weighs around 38lbs or so. its not tiny, by any means, but it is a 12in celestion vintage 30 and a decent speaker cab too, so it is going to have a little bit of weight to it but isnt back-breaking heavy either....
okay, so, here you are, at this part of my review of this 1x12 cab. if you got to this point, i have got to say that if you need a 1x12 cab and the Celestion Vintage 30 is the speaker you want, it would be stupid to pass this up. even if it is not on sale, it is BY FAR the best deal you are going to find. matter of fact, if you catch this cab on sale, like i did (i got it for $160, after tax), itll cost less than just a Celestion Vintage 30 (go ahead and check musicians friend, guitar center or wherever else you get your stuff from, they all confirm what i am saying), just by itself. then, add in the cost of an empty cab too (seismic wants around $200, just for an empty 1x12 cab), so you're up to nearly $400. this Monoprice 1x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet with Celestion Vintage 30 cab costs 50% less and even more when its not on sale.. so, yeah, if you are wanting a 1x12 guitar amp speaker cab, with a Vintage 30 in it, it would be dumb to pass this up. so, if you are looking at this and considering it, DO IT!! if you have the money, right now to get this, BUY IT NOW!
i use this cab for all kinds of stuff. mainly, i have it hooked up to my little Orange Micro Dark. the little 8in cab that i got the amp head with sounds great for a little 8in speaker, but the micro dark was SCREAMING for something bigger. this cab fir the bill. i was looking for Celestion Vintage 30 and came across this cab. it is such a good deal that as soon as i saw it, i was super skeptical. i decided, on a friend of mines' advice (he had alot of experience with Monoprice brand stuff) to go ahead and buy this cab. i am SO happy i did. it makes my Orange Micro Dark sound like i was "hearing it in my head" and has plenty of room for me to go to 100% volume without having to worry about blowing the speaker....
even brand new, not broken in, the speaker sounded great, right from the get-go and it is only going to get better and better, as long as i take care of it.....
the covering, idk how to explain it. its not high end leather, but it kind of feels like "pleather", in a way. its done well and i dont see any mistakes they may have had. even my little Orange brand 8in cab has some covering cut errors, under the input jack plate. this cab did not have that issue. i cannot believe how good this deal is and if i EVER need another 1x12, this is the 1x12 cab i will be getting..... thinking about getting another one, just so i can stack them, put my little orange micro dark on top and call it my "small stack". lol..
but yeah.. i HIGHLY recommend this 1x12 speaker cab. HIGHLY recommend it. if you need a 1x12 speaker cab and a vintage 30, youd be "special" to pass this up...

great for the price
monitor works great. was a great deal too. mind you, its not a huge HD monitor, but it works for just about anything you can imagine. works well enough to see everything on the screen while playing just about any game i have played so far. the price was good, and its for a good cause too! arrived well enough packed that the shipping company could have beat the box up fairly well and wouldnt have to worry about damage to the monitor itself. i was a little surprised that packing peanuts were used, but they worked well for the purpose of having the monitor shipped. plugged right into desktop, plugged power into wall and turned right on, with no problems. if you need a monitor of this size, this is a good deal. might even be a good idea to grab two or three of them just in case one goes out in the future for some reason.. either way, if you need a monitor of this size, this is great and i highly reccommend this item.

these are legit fender amp connector female jacks. there was two of them in the pack. they look to be of good quality.
