Perfect Replacement Part
Tired of trying to start you lawnmower when the spark plug is clean but not sparking? It could be this cable is worn and not fully engaging the safety switch. My cable deteriorated due to weather and the outside housing became shorter as a result. This perfect replacement works great and the lawnmower now starts reliably. I was a bit unnerved that the entire cable needed to be replaced but the cost is low and it is very easy to install.

Nice tool, but how do I use it?
I am unable to find instructions for using the various "features" of this tool anywhere. I am certain that each cutout has a purpose. This tool should come with a "user manual" that identifies each feature and explains how the feature is used in the maintenance of a Stihl chain saw chain. Stihl has an excellent download that explains everything about maintaining a chain ... except how to use this Stihl chain maintenance tool.
