Great for techs to have!
1 of 1 found this helpful I work on PCs often and I hate having to unplug the power cord from the PC, especially when they are tight-fitting. This solves that problem by putting a switch on the power input (not all PSUs have their own on/off switch).
There is not voltage loss with this nor is there any voltage leak when the unit is switched off.
Also, these are not completely molded/sealed units like the pictures show. They actually have 4 screws on the housing so it can be taken apart should you need to. This is another plus as far as I'm concerned.
Very satisfied with this product.
Highly recommended!

Good value RAM
1 of 1 found this helpful Great price for upgrading older systems and building economy systems. Identified as "Kingston" by system spec programs. Manufacturing dates are very old, not sure if that means much but something to note.

Not enough Amp output for most devices
If you need this to recharge or power hi-powered devices like smart phone, cell phone, GPS, etc, this will not work well. It has a very low amp output (only 0.5A or 500mA). It will recharge your device, but VERY VERY VERY VERY slowly. It will take hours upon hours just to get an extra battery bar to even show.
You need a minimum of 2 amps (2A or 2000mA) for devices like these if you want to charge them within a practical rate of time. In fact, I'm not sure what types of devices this adapter is even good for. But I know it's pretty much useless for my phones and GPS.
Spend extra money and get a 2A or 2.1A (2000mA or 2100mA) adapter. And if you need it to power really high powered devices like air compressor, heater, cooler, etc, you will need MUCH more than 2A. Do your research for this. It's usually 10A or more.
