Cost Efficient Alternative for 2013 Subaru Outback

I bought these lift supports because their size, price, and lifetime warranty. I used these lift supports to replace the original equipment lift supports in my 2013 Subaru Outback. I drilled & filed out the original mounting bracket ball/rivet. I replaced the mounting balls with ones in the hardware kit. I bought (2) 10 X 1.25 nuts and (2) washers to compete the installation. The new struts support the tailgate and raise it an inch higher than before.
