Hello. My name is Pat. I am a grandmother of four and live over nine hundred miles from my daughter and grandchildren. I live in Philadelphia and they live in Atlanta. I have recently made a decision to downsize and do some traveling with my little ones. When I say downsize what I really mean is selling almost everything and that is a lot. I could start my own thrift store with the eclectic collection of things I own. It is a daunting task, but I have given myself a year to do it. So with EBay’s help I feel I can accomplish my goal. I am new to the EBay’s selling community. I have never sold anything on EBay before. I am both excited to get started on one hand; a bit overwhelmed and a little frightened on the other. Actually, I did try to sell a coat last year but was unsuccessful. I really did not know what I was doing and made many mistakes so this time I went on You Tube to get some insight and I also bought the book EBay for Dummies so I feel I am as ready as I will ever be to get started. The rest I guess I will have to learn along the way. It is very important to me that customers feel comfortable buying from me even though I have absolutely no reputation…good or bad. Therefore, I plan to take as many pictures as I can, give as much honest information about each item, disclose any flaws, give fast handling and shipping, and answer any and all questions as quickly as possible. That said…should a customer receive any item that they are not happy with, I will accept the return and refund their money in full. My ultimate goal is to offer a totally hassle free buying experience.
