Brilliant New Design

I originally bought solar-panel mounting plates from a local company; they were simple z-shaped strips of metal and didn't include hardware. This new design mounts securely to the panel-edge and matches the aluminum finish. There are two mounting holes in each plate instead of one, and the high-quality hardware is all stainless steel. The kit even comes with eight self-sealing self-tapping screws for fastening the panels to a metal or composite roof. Great value here!

Best mounting for your solar panel

This complete kit has well-designed brackets for one Renogy solar panel and comes with stainless-steel bolts and self-drilling gasketed screws. I found two extra washers in my kit; these are there in case one or two of them slip through your fingers and fall in tall grass. If you are mounting Renogy 100-watt panel on a metal or shingle roof, this is the right kit to use.

AMERITRON ADL-1500 1.5kW Dummy load with oil

I needed one of these.

Until I got my AL-811 amplifier, I could get along with my 150-watt terminating wattmeter. With the amplifier, I needed a good low-cost kilowatt dummy-load and this Ameritron load was it. The price was lower than any of the dry-style dummy-loads, shipping was free and fast, and it's conservatively rated for my purpose. Perfect!
