Gone with The Wind
A classic of all films one of the greatest cast of actors in the making of this film. The best story told of the Old South during the Civil War. Look for it in books a civilization "Gone With The Wind'.

Any film wirh Cagney and Bogart is worth seeing
After treachery of his double dealing associate (Humphrey Bogart), Eddie (James Cagney) go to prison. After Eddie gets out of prison he wises up and things come to a head. But I don't want to give the finale away. This was the end of Hollywood's focus on the gangster era. For Cagney and Bogart fans I would highly recommend this film. 1939 was the year of Hollywood's greatest films.
