Excellent heavy duty leash, at least for me, these have held up super well.
1 of 1 found this helpful These are really excellent! I've worn out 3 of these due to long time heavy use with big dogs and lots of walks, pulling through brush and other obstacles. I'm amazed at how well they've held up. There's no doubt that I've abused them somewhat. One dog, appropriately named Tug, was a 115 pound powerhouse and the standard model lasted almost 7 years.

So far, it seems like a bargain and I'm happy with the purchase.
I've only done some testing so far, running it continuously for 36 hours with a 300 watt load and for a few minutes with a 900 watt load (hot air gun). So far it worked as expected. I have a Kill A Watt meter, it seems to draw about 13 watts at rest (about 0.5amps @ 24v). The meter readings on the front agree closely with my charge controller and the Kill A Watt readings.
It never got very hot, but when the fans kicked in the first time, it made me jump, as they are pretty noisy. That would be my only complaint, at least so far. The battery cables supplied are on the short side, but longer would need heavier wire and up the price. I'll be using much heavier cables when I mount it permanently.

Awesome Photography is What Caught Me, Excellent Text Held Me
I've done a great deal of landscape photography, much in the days of large format cameras. Ellen Bishop's images really impressed me ( we have quite a few similar shots in the same places). Of course there are shots of specific rocks and formations, there are also many overviews of geologic features (landscapes), that tell a story, the composition is excellent and many of the photos would look great framed in our home. This is not your typical scientific text book!
I learned a great deal about how "Oregon" was formed and the specifics of many of my favorite places. It's very well written, technical enough on geology to really say something without being overwhelming.
