Disappointing play, excellent graphics

Cons: Wolfenstine and Halo fans will find the play slow and frustrating because you cannot open doors. Radar is small and I’m still not sure how to use it.. You cannot just save the game and walk away. You have to reach checkpoints if you do not want to loose your place. Two players is not an option… Someone has to sit and watch. I felt I got more bang for my buck with Doom3.

Great Bang 4 the Buck, Work around for playlist
1 of 1 found this helpful Pros: A lot of MP3 player for the money. FM radio and MP3 player. Well lit screen, great viewing in car at night. Battery life very good. Sound quality superb.
Cons: Only 2. Lack of ability to have a play list and Customer Support. There is a work around for the playlist. Store your “playlists” in folders on the player. You can then go to each folder, right-click, go to advance properties and change the genre for those files. Name the genre what every you like… then just select the genre for the play list.
5/23/2006, I sent my unit in for warranty 12/05. I call monthly without resolve. Refund denied. 5-months no player.
Only other con. Lack of customer support… figure at least a 20-minute wait on hold for a human. And you will have to wait as the websites FAQ did not address most of my concerns. You can be as specific as you need on the email support but expect a generic reply. 90-days waiting for warranty work… email response for equipment status is generic (non-existent)…you have to call them for status report and count on a long wait on hold. The Rave-arc is worth the money under $100. Just realize you will be on you own…
