Great Product, but it has built-in Obsolescence

This is our second purchase of the DHB-900BC/C and our SIXTH Cuisinart coffee maker over the past 10 years. They seem to have a built-in obsolescence that is very irritating. However, we love the thermal pot, which is far better than a glass decanter sitting on a heating plate, which causes coffee to get rancid within a couple of hours of brewing.
