For the much more advanced beginner
Haven't started this book yet but looking at it, it is classically orientated and may be a bit too dry or difficult for the average beginner. It's probably ok for someone whose more gifted and/or been taking lessons from a music teacher for a while at least. I just use it at the moment for additional sight reading exercises of which I need plenty.

Good addition to your piano course
1 of 1 found this helpful Excellent book for the beginner learning to sight read. Consists of short phrases to practice and tests to ensure progress. Starts off simple and later gets more difficult and tries to trip you up with unexpected rests and intervals to improve your ability. Plenty of practice phrases at the back. Best used as a supplement for your learning regime. Nearly finished this book and have ordered book 2

Arctic cooling fan
Seems good quality fan which can be controlled by CPU temperature. operation is quiet and only slightly audible at full speed, but if under PWM control probably rarely if ever run at full. On my pc this casing fan is close to the cpu cooler and so I run it a bit harder to take some load of the cpu fan(as this is more expensive!).
The cpu cooler is also an arctic so they work well together.
