Nice case for my ddj sx2
7 of 7 found this helpful This being the first time I have purchased a case I was a little skeptical. I was concerned that my 17" laptop wouldn't fit well on the shelf, but there is plenty of room. I will have to add some small pieces to the side padding to keep the unit centered, but that's a simple fix. I am very pleased with my decision to order this case, and the red on black looks very nice "Go Dawgs!!". There is plenty of room in the back to access the hook ups, and the front panel comes off to access all of the front controls, when it use.

Wow!!!
5 of 5 found this helpful I have a 1tb HDD that didn't have much on it since I use it as a DJ rig, but the boot time was still slow, in my opinion. Fortunately I had an empty HDD slot that was connected to my board in the laptop. I popped this bad boy in, and initialized it in disc management, restarted the computer, and made sure it was detected in the bios, loaded the migration software that came with it, shut down all running apps, and cloned it over to this SSD with no issues, restarted again, went to bios, and set it as the main boot drive, and then the "Wow". This boy is fast. I tested all of my programs to make sure they opened correctly, and no problems there. I will use the 1tb drive for my music, and video files. I will say that I am already good with computers, and know what I'm doing in the bios, and disc management. If you aren't familiar with it, get someone that is so you don't have issues, but, if you haven't experienced SSD yet, give this one a try. The ratings all over the net are great for the Samsung line of SSD.

Nice addition
I purchased a pair of NDX500s to use as a back up system. I had done the research on the web from DJ related sites as well as Virtual DJ, and Serato. They had good reviews. Of course they don't have all of the capabilities of the Pioneer CDJ line, but they don't have the price either. I have them hooked up to my DDJ SX2, and can still play music if my laptop crashes since I have them routed through the controllers mixer. I played around with some MP3s on a flash drive, and everything played fine. They fit my needs well, and the price is hard to beat for what you are getting. I plan to play around with them more in midi mode as well.
