Clairol shimmer lights
4 of 4 found this helpful I was using this in order to make my blonde ashier and less brassy after I bleached my hair (asian hair, which has more warm tones) I used it twice and left it on the second time for longer as it said to on the bottle but it didnt make my blonde much less brassier as i thought, but what was I thinking? I had only just bleached my hair so it's surely too brassy and the blonde tone was too high to tone down.
This product didn't work the first time for me. I decided to then get a ash blonde hairdye to tone my hair down, it didn't make a great difference but helped. However after a few washes with shimmer lights (3 so far) it's slowly making my orangey hair less orange, now quite blonde and I will continue to use shimmer lights til i get a more ash blonde result!
I recommend finding a good toner OR dying your hair after any bleaching THEN using shimmer lights. Would def work better. Has never made my hair turn purple after leaving on for too long. Pro is it does however brighten your hair/any dullness as it says. I'd give 4/5 stars
