bad mechanical design, go for a Garmin or Polar if you want to avoid frustration.
The device would be great IF the battery cover wasn't so fragile. It broke on the first day. We tried purchasing a new cover but the company doesn't sell it. Found a 3D model and printed a new cover, but that broke already as well as there are very fragile teeth holding the cover in place. The battery cover is a terrible engineering design and it's a shame Wahoo doesn't sell original covers for repairs. The device did connect fine to the phone when the battery was working.
