New A/C Hose Fitting FT 0206C
Oct 17, 2018
Really hit the spot when upgrading the A/C compressor
Just replaced the old York with a brand new Sanden and needed service ports. This really hit the spot. Pulled the York out, flushed the system a couple of times, installed the new compressor with these fittings, pulled the air out, pumped in the HFC 134a and some oil with tracer. Working fine. Difficult to find these fittings but really required for upgrading to latest compressor.

Much cheaper than the original, but works well

Great carbs but need to improvise a bit to make them work on W108
Great carbs and the kit really boosts the performance of your car. Much easier to adjust and more reliable than the old Zenith carbs. I tried rebuilding the Zenith carbs but the rebuild kits out there never had all the parts required. You’d end up having to buy kits from several brands and left with many same parts. Also, it’s very difficult to get hold of different air correction nozzles and jets for Zenith . So I decided to go to Weber.
The seller will help you out with different questions you may have, very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The kit does need to be modified slightly though. The corner of the stay of the bell crank that goes under the manifold needs to be filed off a little to make it fit flat. The provided adjustable plastic push rods tend to get stuck and are too short to go full throttle. Search on eBay for metal throttle rods and make your own push rods. The nut on the back of the lever will interfere with the choke mechanism so be sure to shorten it and either replace the nut with a flatter one or weld it. The right nut of the front carb will not fit on later manifold as there isn’t enough clearance. You need to cut the head off and bolt it from above and below with two bolts.
I highly recommend these carbs over Zenith.
