National Tree Company Dunhill Fir 4 Foot Prelit Christmas Tree (Open Box)

Need quality control checking

Upon receiving the tree I checked to see if all three sections of lights worked. Unfortunately one section did not. Upon checking I discovered the lead wires were cut and then tied together into a small ball, opening a possibility of sparks and fire . Apparently this tree was sold and then returned. Hard to believe the tree was not checked for defects. Luckily I repaired the wires.
