A great sounding unit with some very nice options, it was well worth the $
Pioneer AVH-X5500BHS 7 inch Car DVD Player: I purchased this unit to upgrade the basic plain Toyota radio/CD player. I was looking for a unit with Bluetooth iphone functionality as well as a unit with a touch screen CD/DVD player, HD radio, and a backup camera option. I like the Bluetooth, HD radio, CD/DVD player. Great sound with my factory speakers. This unit works great with my iphone and it’s nice to have the DVD player as well. I like the functionality of the tilt screen. Also the rear view camera option is great. Very easy to navigate through screen and I like the option of being able to change backgrounds. Easy to install, instructions were clear. Pioneer could have added album art on the CD player, also the track number and time remaining fonts are very small when playing CD. Also the HD radio fonts could be a little larger. The AM radio reception is poor, but I do not listen to much AM anyway. The backgrounds are limited and you can only upload 1 jpg file, would be nice to be able to upload 5-6 photos. It’s a great sounding unit with some very nice options, it was well worth the amount I spent and I would purchase a Pioneer Head Unit again.
