Anything by Thorne is EXCELLENT
1 of 1 found this helpful I am extremely pleased with the Thorne Products. I was first introduced to them when my 10yr old suffered from extreme migraines and was very ill from them. Doctor after doctor and referral after referral led us to Dr. Thompson in Soldotna Alaska who is a Naturopathic MD. Though he had never treated anyone so young with a migraine, when he learned she was unable to attend school, vomiting everyday, and saw firsthand how sick she was from them, he wanted to help.
She told him "how she felt very tiny, like she was shrinking, and how the TV had colors around it. It had been one solid year of suffering for her tiny body. He then put her on a dosage of 5-HTTP and L-Tyrosine by Thorne along with shark liver oil. "Take it everyday exactly as I say and don't miss a dose". Five days later, my daughter returned to Dr. Thompson and gave him a huge hug, thanking him for taking her headaches away. She was a new kid! The entire office, including the doctor, was brought to tears. He wrote about this experience in his book titled "The Calcium Lie: What your doctor doesn't know could kill you". Somehow her story just fit right in.
My daughter and I are forever grateful. His knowledge of this product line and how to use it saved her from so much suffering. She stayed on Thorne for one year, never missing a dose, and after that first five days on it, she has never EVER had a migraine again. She is now 24 yr old and still orders Thorne products. When someone says migraine, she simply tells them Thorne. It is the migraine cure. You can't go wrong with anything by Thorne.
