Stand out in a crowd
Great quality, fit and style. As much as I like the flowered style Scully embroidery, everyone wears those! The stitch pattern on this one leans a bit more rocker than cowboy and makes a unique statement, IMHO.

Protect your investment
You spent a few hundred $ to buy these speakers so, if like me, you intend to load them in and out of your car taking them to gigs it's just a no-brainer to spend a little more to get covers that will keep the plastic from getting all scratched up and protect the amp controls on the back! Also, they have an angled pad on the top so you can stack them vertically when you get back to the house.

Hot output, agressive tone
3 of 3 found this helpful Bought this to replace the anemic sounding stock pu in my Squire P5. Had tried an American Standard pickup but it didn't have output & tone I was looking for (something similar to the DiMarzio in my 4 stringer). Since Fender makes their pickup with unequal case sizes, theirs, Nordstrand & now Seymour Duncan are the only options without routing the body. Output is very hot and tone is super aggressive with tone control open. Great rock sound with pick! Dial tone back a bit and you can get a nicer fingerstyle sound. Only used for 3 gigs very pleased so far.
