Nice motherboard for a 64 bit workstation

I use this board with 64 bit Mint Linux, so I am not perhaps a typical user, I have been using it for 2 months, I had a few hiccups at the beginning, I did not set up the dual channel memory correctly It has been used to produce and test software and has performed well it is paired with a AMD Phenom(tm) 9750 Quad-Core Processor. I am using the bios version that the previous owner set up. I bought this board to provide me with a 2nd development workstation, it has performed admirably, After buying the board I read bad things about both the processor and the motherboard, in my case they were not true.

A Dream phone

You probably need a to be a bit of a techie to go the unlocked Android route, but Telus support were very helpful indeed. Took me 24 hours to get all features up and running. Lots of nice free apps and a very open architecture that allows you to do pretty much what you like. I hope to have my first app out presently.

SSDs make old systems young again

I have now re-energised 2 laptops by replacing the disk with a SSD and the results are impressive. The Crucial M4 is a reasonable price and has worked well in my system. Con - you don't know how hard it has been used and therefore how long it may last. So far has been excellent
