ITEM 65-Western 105 AND 106 Oxygen Acetylene Adaptors, A Size Torch to B Hose

High quality flash arrestor

These are absolutely necessary for safely operating oxygen/acetylene torches. These are "B" size hose fitting, regulator mount. These or other top name flame arrestor are the only ones you should be using be them torch or regulator mount. The no name ones out of china are not comparable, many of those are only for directional flow and have no flame arrestor. Even the ones that have both flow and flame arrestors are of dubious quality at best and possibly very dangerous. Your insurance may not even cover you should you have an accident. Odds of them still working a year or two down the road arent in your favor. Be safe and be smart, spend the extra money on a top name brand like western. They will last you a lifetime and will not fail when they are needed. I know I'm covered everytime I fire up my torches be it next week or 10 years down the road.

Top quality gear reducer at a fraction of the cost

Item came as advertised, new except light surface rust on the motor flange that cleaned up easily. (this was in pictures and made known, ) 126:1 reducer that outputs over 2200in-lb torque at 14rpm with only a 1/2 hp motor! Compact design with huge torque, these will be more and more mainstream as manufacturing innovations make them easier to build. A comparable worm drive has a huge foot print and requires 2 plus horsepower to drive it to get comparable torque and much more expensive variable speed controls to drive it Quality cast iron housing with multiple mounting positions designed into it. I couldn't be more pleased with my choice.
