Awesome sound quality.

There's not many tracks that can push my NVA system to its limits, but this CD certainly did. The first minute showed me bulleting across the room to turn down the gain before my speakers gave up. But it's not just about the heavy times.... the lighter tunes are gloriously recorded and the silences are well... silent. It's well recorded, mixed and presented. Good systems will show it to its best, but watch your gain control !!!!

Hard to beat at the price for sheer musical enjoyment.

I'm giving this 4 stars as I thought the sound 'quality' of this piece quite sublime. The minimalism and construction might not be to everyone's taste... but it is to mine. Input is a single pair of phono sockets and output a single pair of speaker sockets. There is no phono stage so the input will most likely be a CD player. There is however a very good headphone stage thrown in. For anyone wanting a very high 'sound' quality item, this is hard to beat. The reason for the -1 star? Well you have to live with the insistence by NVA that use of any other speaker cables other than theirs or 'approved' others will invalidate the guarantee. Apart from that unbeatable at the price level.
