Good size and weight
My mother is old and can't swing a pyrex measuring cup the way she used to. This is ideal for her. She's had a couple, but over the years they've developed stress cracks.She's tried some of the new mixing bowls, but they develop the cracks much sooner.

Good wide angle lens
I found this to be a very good wide angle lens, though it is a bit limited by not being zoom, and is, therefore, a lens to be used for specialized projects, which is why I bought it. It does its job well. The purpose I am using it for is aerial photography.

Wonderful Camera
This is my second Nikon D50. The D50 is an easy to use DSLR camera. I have had other cameras and digital cameras. The D50, however, has proven flexible. It takes sharp resolution pictures. I would recommend it for anyone just getting into dSLR photography.
