Add-on's that are well worth the money
1 of 1 found this helpful Unlike the last two Add-on's for Fallout 3 (The Pitt & Operation:Anchorage) Broken Steel and Point Lookout are much more story driven and add much more to the overall game.
Broken Steel picks up where Fallout 3 left off, your character awakens two weeks later to continue the adventure through the D.C. ruins. Clean water is now in abundance but not all is as it seems.
The level cap has be upped from 20 to 30. New weapons, armor and locations along with a good story make for an add-on you don't want to miss.
Point Lookout is set in Point Lookout, Maryland and like The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage, can be beaten before finishing the main quest in Fallout 3.
Point Lookout is a vast, lush enviroment with quite a few surprises. This is by far the toughest add-on released and should provided quite a challenge. The only downside is that your followers can't come with you.
All in all, the Fallout 3 add-on's are well worth the money, but these two are my favorites of the bunch.
