Nitecore SC2 Quick Charge
1 of 1 found this helpful Very versatile charger for all my battery charging needs. It's fast, it's safe, and the price is right. I like the ability to charge through a USB port and, at 2.1 amps, it's quick. When using the USB charger, the second charging bay, on the right, has priority so you can't charge a USB device while charging in that bay. I'm not in love with the positive charge contacts. It has little buttons instead of a bar, so it can be a little aggravating to get the battery to go in place, but it's not a deal breaker. I like the power cord as it is simply a power cord to the house or AC outlet, no wall wart and no inline brick. With all the blue leds, it's not hard to tell what it's doing, whether it's powered, charging, in stand by, or finished with it's charging. Unlike my Nitecore New i2, it doesn't go dark when the batteries are removed. Since my charging station is driven by a Monster serge protector, I am able to kill power to all my chargers with a single switch and the blue leds on the SC2 reminds me to switch them off. I recommend this charger for anyone looking for a quick, basic (analog) charger for all of their rechargeable battery needs. It's safe and the price is right.

NICE CASUAL/DRESSY PANTS
I got the Fossil, 44 x 30. They fit as expected. While these pants are built with quality, I wouldn't classify them as warm weather wear. I would say they are good for anything under 75 degrees. If you have a situation where you need to wear long pants in the heat, I believe I would look elsewhere however, for those cool summer nights, below 75 degrees, they are perfect. I like the single cargo pocket on the right leg, a little extra carry room with a surprising variety of functionality without making you look too tactical. I'll say these are in the casual to dressy category.

UPGRADE TO REPLACE SOLDERED BATT.
Item as described, holds CR2032's securely and solder points are clean and straight. Used to replace soldered battery in my Quadraverb GT audio processor. Now, if the back-up batt. goes down, I can replace without soldering.
