Teach Yourself Reiki
I bought this book as an introduction to Reiki, and found the text useful for this and more. In addition to providing basic information as to what Reiki is, the author discusses the historical background and philosophical underpinnings of this alternative energy therapy, and enables someone to get started in its practice. The guide is intelligently written by someone with an obvious mastery of the subject matter, and it can be utilized and appreciated on a variety of levels.

Keep An "Eye" Out For This One!
1 of 1 found this helpful More of a training program than a game, "Flash Focus" probably wouldn't appeal much to game-oriented kids or those seeking a "shooter"-type experience. It's pitch is more intellectual than most, and is based on scientific research, the application of which through the program allows you to refine and enhance visual abilities that are useful in sports, reading, and many other kinds of functional activities. Rather interactive and individualized, the program tests your eye age and then programs a variety of training activities to enhance differing visual skills; these activities vary from day to day, and you can chart your growth and progress in the areas; not bad! The sports activities include baseball, football, boxing, soccer, table tennis, volleyball and more, and you can elect just to go into those sub-programs without doing the training. "Flash Focus" is smart, and a kick in its own quiet way!

Economical and User-Friendly Fun!
This is a game that you can get into, play, and enjoy quickly without having to wade through, study, and master a thick complicated manual! To me, the relative ease of use continues to be the appeal of the old Playstation 1 games. While no longer state of the art, a game such as this still allows a good amount of customization and interactive play, and it can be had for usually just a few dollars on eBay; such games are still enjoyable. Go ahead and empty your wallet if you want to for the newest game programs, but for me it's hard to beat user-friendly and affordable fare such as this.
