perfect for it's intended application
used to convert GHT spigot to 1/4" compressed fitting so our appliance has a shut-off valve when it needs to be serviced. The only reason it was given 4 stars is because the flat rubber washer was of extremely poor quality and you might consider replacing it before putting this adapter into service
