I bought this machine for my wife. She is a seamstress
and works at the local Harley Davidson dealer sewing patches
on jackets and vests for the riders. This machine was listed
as being a commercial grade machine, but it is not. The foot
of the sewing machine does not raise high enough to get leather
wear under it. I tried to point this out to the seller and tell
him it is not a commercial grade machine. His response was to
post a message that I was trying to sew 12 layers of leather,
when in reality it won't sew even one layer... For all other
projects, my wife loves this machine. The speed is unreal and
she loves the ease of working on this machine. We recently found
a 1955 Necchi sewing machine on ebay and purchased it. The all-metal
Necchi can sew through beer cans with no problem. Now we have one
machine for heavy dute projects...and one that stays home for
domestic projects.

Hits by Phil Collins
I have been a fan of Genesis dating back to the late 1970's.. When
Peter Gabriel left the group to go solo I just knew that band would
go belly up. After an extensive search for a lead singer, the band
decided to just let the drummer sing their songs, and Phil Collins
became a worldwide celebrity. The album "Hits" contains some of the
great songs by the group and some from solo albums by Collins. Thanks
to MTV and VH1 his face has become instantly recognizable....But it
is the music on this album that is most recognizable.. "Separate Lives",
"Against All Odds", "One More Night",..etc.. It doesn't get any better
if you are a true Phil Collins fan. "Easy Lover" with Phillip Bailey of
Earth, Wind, and Fire always brings back memories of their video together.
Collins cover of Cindy Lauper's "True Colors" and the Supremes "You Can't
Hurry Love" show a different side of these songs. And if you haven't
heard "In The Air Tonight" enough yet, it too is included on this album..
This is definitely a collection of great "Hits" for his fans by Collins.

iRiver H-10 MP3 Player
When it comes to MP3 players, I have bought a ton of them. I am a music lover and have it playing in the background all the time. My reason for wanting an MP3 player was to take my music with me. Most of the players I have owned in the past have some quirk implanted by a music subscription company that made it obsolete for me. I still carry a grudge against URGE/Rhapsody for messing up one of my players. After they implant their bug in the machine, it would play only one or two songs and then stop, with the message that I needed to recharge/update my subscription. Some others will play all of your songs by one artist at one time no matter how spaced out you place them..
....But the iRiver H-10 does do that!! I create my own playlist from my Windows Media Player and I like the fact the H-10 plays my playlists exactly as I have them formatted. My Media Player has over two thousand songs on it and I like the dependability of it rather than a subscription companys. It takes a little effort to transfer songs from cassette, CD, or record to the computer, but in the end it is well worth it. The iRiver H-10 may not be at the top of everyone's shopping list, but it is on mine. The player is well made and easy to use. The quality of sound is equal to any other digital player that I have heard. It's a good player!!
