18 volt battery
They were delivered very quickly. As of this time I've not had a chance to use them yet. But I did charge them to check them out. They charged and were holding when I checked them.

78 CJ5 Jeep Wish I would have seen it before bidding
2 of 4 found this helpful I bidded on a 30 year old jeep. To start out they had it listed as a 77 CJ5 with a 4 cly. enging. But it really was a 78 with a 6 cly enging. I seen a picture and it looked very nice. I e mailed the seller and asked all kinds of questions. He told me everything worked, and I could drive it home. Home was over 350 miles if I could put up with the viberation from the tires. My son in law suggested we take a car float just in case. Well we ended up hauling it home. When we got there to check the jeep out it wouldn't start. To start out it had a dead battery, they changed it out still wouldn't start, (no gas) put gas in it and it started and shounded good. When I went to test drive it found out it didn't have a break one. The throw out bearing was squeeling so bad you couldn't hear anyone talking standing next to you when the clutch was pressed in. But like I said the guy said I could drive it home. I also asked about the heater, guages and other things, again he told me everything worked. Well sight seen at the time nothing worked. We loaded it on the trailer and got it home. Upon checking to see why the breaks didn't work their wasn't any break fluid in the master cylinder. The front calipers were extended out and the rotors are groved beyond being able to turned. The back breaks were so worn and rusted that nothing could work. All in all the jeep was what I was looking for. I figured I would have to put some TLC out on it, but just not right off the barrell. I ended up giving the seller a negitive feed back. He contacted me and asked WHY? I told him why and he asked me why I bought it if I didn't like it. I told him I didn't want the negative feed back on my record, and I fufilled my part of the contract. As far as I was concerned he lied on his part of it. He offered to refund my money if I brought it back. I asked if he would also refund the money I've already spent out on it and my time. In which time wise I may have already had 50 or 60 hours on it. He never replied back to that. But I've almost got everything fixed on it, and it will be on the road shortly.
All I can say on buying a vehicle off Ebay is you need to go look it over or have someone check it out for you before you bid on them.. YOU CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT EVERYONE TELLS YOU... Oh by the way I bought it off a car lot and from the car lot owner.... So I guess it true what they say, everything a car salesman tells you is as lie........... HE HE
